The Chester Road Reapers are thrilled to announce the addition of three newly certified mental health first aiders to our team: Lewis Cleveland, Rae Feather, and Dylan Stout. These dedicated individuals have recently completed their comprehensive training through Mind North West Wales and Mental Health First Aid Wales, a significant step in promoting mental well-being within our community.

Empowering Our Team

The one-day intensive course provided by Mind North West Wales and Mental Health First Aid Wales has equipped Lewis, Rae, and Dylan with the vital resources and knowledge to handle a wide variety of mental health crises. From recognising the early signs of mental health issues to providing immediate support and guiding individuals towards professional help, their training covers a broad spectrum of scenarios. This empowerment ensures that they are well-prepared to offer immediate assistance to anyone in need.

The Importance of Mental Health First Aid

Mental health first aid is crucial in today’s world, where mental health challenges are becoming increasingly prevalent. The Chester Road Reapers recognise the importance of addressing these issues head-on, ensuring that our members and the wider community have access to immediate support when needed. By having trained mental health first aiders, we aim to create a safe and supportive environment, breaking down the stigma associated with mental health struggles.
